Worked out alright for me, not sure if my contact info has been stollen yet though...

Easy and practical and free!

In my case, this app deleted over 60% of my contacts (several hundred that were NOT duplicates). It left all the duplicates behind, though. Changes were synced up to gmail before I released what this app had done.

Just merged 127 nbr a to one name...do not use this app!!

Only found 2 of the 20+ duplicates on the phone!

It found many dupes and said that it had cleared them, but it was not true! They were still in my contact list.

Cleaned up over 100 dupes, most were exact copies but 20% were partial matches. Did a great job. Suggestion, I would like an option to append a note to existing notes for every contact changed with a comment and date of what is changed.

I had two contacts that duplicated themselves over 2000 times. This app merged them in minutes. Excellent!

There are multiple contacts that are duplicated on my phone, and it didn’t catch them.

I want to make sure they dont take my contact info and make it their own, however the privacy policy and terms of use are so small, and not able to be zoomed, that I have no choice but to assume there is something to hide. Beware bearers is free apps.
